Fruit & Nut Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup organic, fortified rice or almond milk
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1 banana (frozen is best)
  • big spoonful almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seed
  • 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup or raw agave nectar
  • 1-2 tbsp vegan protein powder – eg. rice, hemp 

Directions:

Blend all ingredients until smooth. Put it in a thermos if you need to take it with you.
