Power Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup organic soy, rice or almond milk
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1/2 banana (frozen is best)
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup organic plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seed
  • 1 teaspoon honey or pure maple syrup
  • 1-2 tbsp rice, hemp or soy protein powder
  • 4 ice cubes – optional

Directions:

Blend all ingredients until smooth. Put it in a thermos if you need to take it with you.
