This class combines a 30-minute run/walk program, weekly strength training and nutrition tips to get you on your way to a fit, lean and healthy body. By the end of the 10-week class you will be ready to participate in a 5km event! | ||||

| Build endurance, strength and prepare for a 10km race. Combining group runs building from 5km to 10km, which focus on pace, form and breathing with a few weeks of endurance drills including hill repeats and pickups; this class is suitable for those running their first 10km or more experienced 10km runners.

| Offered free of charge, Elation Centre Run Club is here to help keep you motivated during your long run. Meet outside Elation Centre Westboro Studio, 360 Kirkwood Avenue (note: washrooms are available in the building). Distance Group: If training for a long-distance race (21.1 or 42.2 KM) a detailed schedule is followed, building mileage each week. When taking a break from racing distances vary between 8KM and 12KM5-10KM Group: between 5-7km each week, if training for a 10km event distance will build each week towards the race.
