About Our Yoga Classes
Power Vinyasa Yoga
At Elation Centre we teach Power Yoga also called Vinyasa Yoga. This style of Yoga builds physical and mental strength as well as flexibility; and the classes have been known to get hot and sweaty from student-generated heat, not from external heaters.
This internal heat super-charges your metabolism, burns fat, burns calories, increases flexibility safely without over-stretching, all without sweat pouring off of you or the person on the mat beside you.
Find Your Power
At Elation Centre Yoga Classes you work hard, and find your personal edge.
Above all your practice at Elation Centre is about following your breath; letting it flow free and deep and allowing the breath to be the connection between the mind and body to keep you focused in the present moment. After all the present is where all of our power lies.
All levels are welcome: We offer Yoga classes for all levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners.
Music: all our classes are taught to music, ranging from Sanskrit mantras to tribal drumming, to contemporary music. The music supports flow and nurtures mental focus.

Crystal Singing Bowls: Many of our teachers use Crystal Singing Bowl to aid relaxation; this versatile instrument opens, balances and tones the chakras (energy points of the body.) The sounds of the bowl affects the body on the physical and emotional levels and combined with the yoga class, the experience will leave you feeling completely refreshed.
Elation Philosophy on Yoga…..
We all have a light to shine in this world. Connecting with the perfection of our individuality and finding our fit in life is what brings true and lasting happiness. Optimum health provides support for this journey and we are here to help you access your true potential. The three Yogic pillars we emphasizes to support and nurture the above are:
- Take time to enjoy Satsang which is a community of like-minded people to grow and elate with.
- We are all ONE – Living in harmony and with respect for people, animals, plants, Mother Earth – The right action to take is always Ahimsa (non violence), act with Love
- Svâdhyâya; Self-and self-observation and reflection, as well study and meditation is essential for growth.
